Marigold is a name thrown around the brewery with a lot of excitement. We use it as a place holder for experimental IPAs, and when the brewers are excited enough the beer even gets released to the public! This batch has big flavors of mango, pineapple, orange, and pine. A crackery malt profile and a slight bitterness create a tingly, drying sensation. This is an exceptionally drinkable West Coast IPA. The brewers have some plans to make some minor changes to the hop profile, increase the clarity, and maybe a few other tricks up their sleeves. The real question we should be asking is why are the brewers experimenting with West Coast IPAs so much? Well… stay tuned cause we’ve got something brewing for ya!
