Our Flanders Red is a traditional Belgian-style ale aged in neutral oak for nearly 5 1/2 years. The oak imparted a very subtle vanilla character that pairs beautifully with the tart, dried cherry, and spicy peppercorn notes throughout. A hint of sweet caramel, along with a prickling carbonation, keeps this beer balanced as it dances across the palate. This is the perfect beer to pair with the rich, decadent flavors.
